Chicago will be hosting the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893. We are recruiting you to showcase your new inventions, accomplishments, or political views to the world! Now is your chance to make yourself heard. Scroll down and click on the links to the left to see what you will be responsible for completing prior to the fair.

Your Challenge...

1. With the help of your teacher, you will find a partner

2. Each partnership will choose a topic from the exhibits link to the left of this page

3. The partnership will research the topic in the library

4. The class will attend the Chicago’s World Fair in 1893.
__a. Each partnership will have a booth set up at the fair
__b. The Fair day will be on Monday, December 21, 2009 in the LMC

5. The partnership will need to include the following at their booth:
__a. An auditory sales pitch
__b. Five visual aids
__c. some type of propaganda poster, signs, pamphlets, etc.
__d. Color
__e. At least one item that is hands on
__f. Historically accurate

6. The partnership will operate their booth for a period of time during the fair

7. The entire class is responsible to attend the fair and learn about the different booths at the fair

8. The partnership is responsible to create a virtual booth on the hhsapush wikispace
